I would ask, respectfully as Abraham did... Lord, how I could do something that is specifically against what you taught me and what your Son showed us all?
Abraham may have asked that, but he was still prepared to do it.

it's very rare that i visit this site these days and even rarer that i start a thread, but ever so often i see a comment so outrageous that i just have to respond.
in a thread entitled "are black people more emotional than white people", the op made the following comment concerning the lack of "black people" in australia:"we have the australian aboriginal people butthey are a different race more related to white people i beleive.
" the bad spelling and grammer isn't the only thing wrong with this sentence.
Ahhhh. Thanks. Well that explains the provacative pictures.
This is a sample of the "insight" that PP brings to this forum:

I find it odd that someone would take such issue with a random comment that Aborigines are not black, that they needed to protest
You failed to take into account what an attention whore that someone is. Of all the misinformation presented on this forum, he chooses that which is most controversial, and that he believes would cause the biggest shitstorm.
or do your fingers move fluidly across the keyboard when you type?.
i admit, i'm far more proficient with letters than i am with numbers and symbols..

i was born as a third generation (perhaps even fourth gen. but my great great grandfather never got baptized) jw.
i remember that when i was young, perhaps about five years old, i would think about jehovah as this big black ghost with yellow eyes.
to me he was quite frightening, and i was constantly catious not to piss him off.
He looked a little bit like Colonel Sanders. I can't explain why.
or to acheieve any goals in their life.
and how dare you try to enjoy your life in this sick and demonic world.
dont you know that this world wont be here for long?
The reality is that born-ins are set up to fail outside of "the truth". The reason you hear about people falling on hard times after leaving, is because they never developed the social skills necessary to cope in the real world. That combined with the fact that they lived such a sheltered life, that when they leave, they want to indulge in all of the things they were deprived of.
And yes, when they inevitably have problems, JWs seem to relish it. It reinforces their belief that "the truth" is some sort of safe haven from the big, bad world.
...just unbelievable.
even the lefties are having trouble to find nice words for them...hahaha!.

but still, I don't think you, or any others who 'HATE MUSLIMS', are necessarily 'bad' people
Do I 'hate' Muslims? I have a healthy disdain for their faith, as I do for all religions, including Christianity.
you just have a skewed POV because of 9/11 and the hysteria connected with that event.
Yes, my POV of Muslims is skewed, in part because of 9/11, as well as other atrocities you seem unwilling to acknowledge. It is also skewed because of fundamental issues I have with their belief system. But it is no more skewed than my attitude towards Christians, who as you say, have their own history of oppressive and destructive behavior, and fundamental beliefs that I also disagree strongly with.
None of that equates to 'hate'. I am fully capable of viewing individual Muslims(or Christians) as good people who have adopted a belief system I don't agree with.
which of the two is considered to be more of an intelectual?.
which of them has produced one of the most brilliant people?..
which of the two societies is considered more advanced than the other?.
Things just sound more intelligent when spoken in a British accent.
...just unbelievable.

I beg to differ.... the hatred directed at those of the Muslim persuasion seems to be exclusionary of the history of Xtianity, and its crimes against humanity .. still ongoing, I might add, with the rapes of children.
And what does the history of Christianity have to do with Muslims or this thread? Are Muslims immune from legitimate criticism because of the atrocities committed by Christians?
